Pour your (unsweetened) milk in a small cooking pot or sauce pan.
Add your other ingredients, either your dried spices or the fresh ingredients. If you're using real vanilla bean, remove the seeds and add them to the mixture.
Slowly bring to a boil on medium heat. Let it simmer for another 1 to 2 minutes.
You can use a fine mesh sieve to catch the small pieces or spices. Enjoy!
