How To Make Fruit Inspired
What you’ll need:
- thick colored (glitter) paper
- scissors
- Heavy duty glue
- plain hair clips
Cut out the shape of your fruit of choice.
To make it a little stronger I created several layers. For the apple I first cut the whole shape out of the black glitter paper. Including the stalk and bottom part.
After that I only cut out the “cheeks”of the apple from the green glitter paper. Make sure that layer is a little bigger or at least as big as the layer underneath. Same goes for the pineapple and the watermelon.
Glue the layers together with some heavy duty glue. Give it time to dry. Next cut out any extra parts you need like the seeds for the apple and watermelon.
Once you’ve created your fruit you can glue it onto a hair pin or clip.
Place a dollop of glue on the widest part of the clip. Carefully lay the fruit on top and press down. Give it time to dry.
When your creation is complete you can wear it with pride!
