This is an awesome recipe. I didn't have everything so I substituted the beeswax with a natural emulsifying wax. Used avocado oil in place of the coconut and substituted jojoba oil for the almond oil. I then just used salt (canning salt) but I multipled it by 6 in order to create what looks like a salt scrub bought in a store. It's awesome. It washes off well, its lush/slushy, and gives just enough scrub (not too rough but just right). And the oils I used dont leave a greasy feel (which I kinda like.) Thank you sharing your magic scrub :)

Can I replace cornstarch with baking soda?

Hi Jan, the cornstarch makes the scrub less sticky, so for that reason baking soda won't work.
