This is fun with papayas, part two #noseasons. I had quite a lot of papaya left over from my Papaya Face Mask, so I decided to turn it into a delicious treat! I looked amazing sitting on my balcony wearing my handmade Papaya Face Mask, sipping my homemade Papaya Smoothie (*ahem*).
What you’ll need:
- 1/2 cup frozen tropical fruit mix
- 1 cup of papaya cubes
- 1/2 tbsp. honey (optional)
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
Along with the papaya I used frozen tropical fruit. I used a mix that has melon, grapes and mango in it.
For my coconut milk I didn’t use the can kind. I used the coconut milk that comes in a milk carton. The one that’s made to make you think you’re drinking regular milk, but is actually dairy free! You can add more milk to get the consistency you like.
Put your frozen fruit, papaya cubes and milk in a blender.
My smoothie had 1/2 tablespoon of honey in it but that’s because, instead of using papaya cubes, I used the rest of my papaya face mask! Since this smoothie is already very sweet, you can totally leave it out. Now,
Blend away.
This smoothie makes a perfectly sweet breakfast or snack.
