Lush is known and loved for its bath bombs in every shape and color. And somewhere along the way they taught: ‘we can do even better. Let’s add bubbles.’ Enter the Bubble Bar.
It’s been a while since I’ve done a review and to me this is the excellent product to kickstart my reviewing habit. When I go to a Lush store I go big. I got a huge haul a few weeks ago. I stopped in my tracks when I saw this big chunky Bubble Bar (I usually do several laps in a Lush store). It’s about the same price as a bath bomb and promises you bubbles! The smell of this Bubble Bar is quite strong and can be a little overpowering. I choose the purple-y one because I liked the name: The Comforter. Good thing I like blackberries. Even if you keep it in a bag in the cupboard like I do, you can still smell it all the way into the hallway.
You can easily get 6 or 8 baths out of 1 Bubble Bar. Just break of a piece before you take a bath. I suggest holding it over your tub when you break it, because it does crumble quite a bit. Hold the piece you broke off under the running water. It’s the best way to create lots and lots of bubbles!
It also turnes your water pink, which is a nice bonus! I would have thaught the blackcurrant smell would have become even stronger, but I noticed non of that. But it’s possible the garlic and peppermint scent from the cosmetic warrior fresh face mask had something to do with that.
The bubbles do dissolve by the end of your bath, but for me that’s the excellent telling sign to get out of the bath tub.
- Make sure you like the scent, because your bathroom will smell like it, all the time.
- 1 Bubble Bar lasts you a good 6 baths
- It turns your bath into a Willy Wonka river
- Bubbles! And lots and lots of them.
Verdict: A bubble succes! This bubble Bar is good value for your money and a no fail gift for pretty much anybody!
