DIY Anti-frizz Conditioning Spray

DIY Anti-frizz Conditioning Spray

This light anti-frizz spray is the perfect finishing touch to your look. Spray it liberally on wet or dry hair to keep fly aways under control!

What I use:

  • 2 tbsp. aloe vera gel
  • 2 tsp. melted coconut oil
  • rose water (or any other kind of blossom water. Or distilled water)
  • empty, clean spray bottle

Squeeze about 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel into your spray bottle.

Now add 2 teaspoons of melted coconut oil. If you’re not blessed to live in a hot climate, melt the coconut oil slowly in the microwave. Or melt the coconut oil using the double boiler method or in a metal spoon over a candle.

Fill up the rest with your blossom water. Give it a good shake and you’re good to go!

Once your coconut oil cools down it can start to clump up. Give it a good shake until the tiny specks of coconut oil are dispersed in the solution again. You can also use fractionation coconut oil if you want. This kind stays liquid at room temperature. Or why not change it up with a different kind of oil, like grape seed or jojoba oil?

I use my DIY detangler spray on wet hair and my Lush R&B balm recipe on my ends. Once my hair is dry I finish with this glorious spray.

This spray is made using fresh, all natural, water based ingredients. Store any leftovers in the fridge and keep for no more than a week.

Enjoy your frizz – free hair!
